Our client needs a hands-on Systems Delivery Engineer to design, install, and hand over cutting-edge simulator systems. Be the go-to expert for simulator hardware/software setup, troubleshooting, and customer training.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing BOMs, schematics, subcontractor specs, and installation documents.
- Deploying, configuring, and fixing hardware/software on-site (UK & international).
- Working with project managers to keep installations on time, on budget, and frustration-free for customers.
- Having strong IT/ICT skills — Windows OS, VMware/Hyper-V, networking, hardware setup.
- Understanding server racks, cable management, and LAN/power specifications.
- Translating technical jargon into clear advice for non-technical users (customer-facing experience is key).
- Willingness to travel frequently (UK/overseas) and work solo or in a team.
