Quarriers Homelife Girvan Service supports adults with learning difficulties to live in their own home. We also support adults within their family home. We work together to create opportunities for the men and women at Quarriers Homelife, supporting 37 adults with a varying level of need. Each person has a tailored support plan.
Working as part of a team to meet the individual needs of each person includes:
- Personal care
- Medication administration
- Maintaining their tenancy
- Support with finances
- Social support to be active citizens within their local community
Look for and offer new opportunities for the individual and promote independence and choice and control over their life, helping them to realise their dreams and aspirations, and lead a fulfilling life through person-centred planning.
A full comprehensive training programme is offered including blended learning. This is a permanent 30-hour contract, hours will be dependent on the needs of the service. Evenings and weekends will be the bulk of the hours available.
