Reach your full potential and join Quarriers as a Relief Support Worker within our Finnart Street and West View adult services located in Greenock!

Your new opportunity

Finnart Street Service is a residential care home for six individuals.

West View service is a residential care home for 8 individuals.

The services are located close by each other with beautiful views of the Clyde. You will be providing support for individuals with learning disabilities and/or Epilepsy.

We are on the lookout forRelief Support Workers who will join a dedicated team who supports individuals in the daily lives and helping them achieve their goals and ambitions.Our ethos is building a relationship with each individual, establishing trust and bringing together a person centred support to deliver the best residential care.

Working pattern:This is a relief opportunity. Staff work a variety of shifts to meet the needs of the people we support, therefore flexibility is essential. Support is offered 24/7 you will work based on a planned rota which will include early,late & weekend shifts on a rotational basis.

What you will need to bring to the role

  • Compassion, understanding and ability to work under pressure.
  • Confident in work with people 1:2:1 and in a community-based setting.
  • Ability to identify and respond affectively to individual emotional support needs.
  • Enthusiasm and self-motivation.
  • Excellent problem solver who is driven by positive outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills and able to record care planning.
