Your new opportunity: Quarriers is excited to be recruiting for the opening of Renfrewshire Head Injury Service which provides brain injury awareness and strategies to help people on a day-to-day basis and set realistic goals. The service focuses on working with individuals, their families and carers either within groups or on a one-to-one basis to overcome the short and long-term effects of their injury.

As a Project Worker you will work with the team raising awareness with topics related to brain injury and provide support to people, carers and families who have been affected by brain injury.

Working pattern/contract: We are offering 1 x part time Project Worker (17.5 hours per week). Your days of work will be predominantly office hours Monday - Friday with occasional evenings and weekend work depending on service delivery needs.

What you will need to bring to the role:

  • Previous knowledge and experience of working with people who have a brain injury.
  • Ability and skills to support and enable people considering person-centred approaches.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Experience of working in a similar supportive role in a community-based setting.
  • Good IT skills.
  • Valid UK driving licence is essential as well as access to your own vehicle.
