Are you a strategic healthcare leader who wants to make a real, lasting impact? Quarriers is looking for an exceptional General Manager to lead the William Quarrier Scottish Epilepsy Centre – a nationally recognised specialist service supporting people with complex epilepsy.

Your new opportunity: As General Manager, you’ll provide strategic, operational and regulatory leadership across WQSEC, ensuring safe, effective and person‑centred clinical and support services. Acting as Registered Manager, you’ll lead multidisciplinary teams, oversee governance and quality, manage significant resources, and work closely with NHS partners to ensure WQSEC continues to thrive and innovate. You’ll be a visible, values‑led leader—motivating people, strengthening partnerships and driving continuous improvement. This is a full time, permanent role working 35 hours per week Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic, operational and regulatory leadership across WQSEC, ensuring safe, effective and person‑centred clinical and support services.
  • Act as Registered Manager, lead multidisciplinary teams, oversee governance and quality, manage significant resources, and collaborate with NHS partners to sustain and develop services.
  • Be a visible, values‑led leader—motivating people, strengthening partnerships and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership experience in a regulated healthcare setting.
  • Strong track record in MDT leadership, governance and service delivery.
  • A recognised Health & Social Care qualification (SCQF Level 9 or above).
  • Excellent people leadership skills – recruitment, performance and workforce planning.
  • Confidence managing complex budgets and operational resources.
  • The ability to represent the service with credibility and influence at senior level.
  • Driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.
