Quarriers is recruiting Relief Support Workers in Cowdenbeath, Fife! Join Quarriers and reach your full potential supporting adults with mental health support needs.
Quarriers Fife Adult Support Living services are currently recruiting relief Female Support Workers. The services are situated in a row of 6 cottages within an idyllic setting in Cowdenbeath where we support adults who have emotional/mental health support needs and learning disabilities. One of the six cottages is the central hub office base for staff to enjoy and where peer support is offered. Within the 5 cottages you will be supporting people in their own home, assisting them with daily life tasks such as cooking, hobbies and domestic duties. The people we support are independent and at times may need assistance with personal care.
Successful candidates joining Quarriers will be provided with training and the opportunity to thrive in a role where you can make a difference to a person’s life every day. An important part of the role is being able to connect with the people we support and understanding their individual needs. You will be part of a well-established dedicated team who promote inclusivity and support people with accessing local opportunities and activities/hobbies they enjoy.
Working pattern: Quarriers is offering relief contracts. Day shifts start from 7:45am – 8pm. We support people 24/7 therefore a level of flexibility and availability to work 12 hours shifts is required to meet the needs of service delivery.
