Quarriers is excited to be developing a brand-new support service in Barrhead, East Renfrewshire.

We are looking for caring, committed and motivated Support Workers to join us from the very beginning of this exciting journey. About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will provide high-quality, individualised support tailored to the person's needs, interests and aspirations.

You will work as part of a dedicated team, building positive relationships and creating a safe, supportive and welcoming environment that enables the individual to thrive.

Support may include:

• Promoting independence and daily living skills.
• Supporting participation in community activities and social opportunities.
• Encouraging health, wellbeing and meaningful routines.
• Providing emotional support and building positive relationships.
• Working collaboratively with families, health professionals and wider support networks.
• Maintaining accurate records and supporting the individual's personal outcomes.

Shift Patterns

This service will provide support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

We are recruiting colleagues who can work flexibly across a range of shifts, including:

• Early shifts
• Late shifts
• Long day shifts
• Waking night shifts
• Weekends and public holidays on a rota basis

Typical shift patterns may include:

• 7:00am to 3:00pm
• 2:00pm to 10:00pm
• 7:00am to 10:00pm
• 10:00pm to 7:00am (waking night)

Please note that final shift patterns will be confirmed as the service becomes operational and will be designed around the individual's support needs.

We're interested in people who:

• Have a genuine drive for supporting others.
• Demonstrate kindness, patience and empathy.
• Are reliable, flexible and committed to delivering high-quality support.
• Can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Have excellent communication skills.
• Have experience within social care, health care or support work, although full training will be provided.
