We currently have the following job vacancy available at Quarr Abbey.
Guesthouse Housekeeper – 15 hours per week. 5 hours a day. Wednesday to Friday. This is a permanent position.
Applicants must be 18 years or over and must have a sensitivity to working in a monastic environment. Applicants must be available Wednesday to Friday with flexibility to cover additional hours and holidays when needed. Days of work are non‑negotiable.
Duties will include laundry, cleaning and turning over rooms, cleaning all communal areas of the guesthouse whilst coordinating with the existing housekeeper to ensure all areas are covered. Rate of pay is Living Wage according to age.
