QuantumLoopAI is looking for a Management Accountant (Group) to join our Finance & Operations team in London. This role is central to ensuring the accuracy of our group financial reporting and supporting the wider business as we scale.
The Role
As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and supporting the year-end audit process. You will work closely with the Head of Finance to improve internal controls and streamline financial processes across our international entities.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare monthly management accounts for the group and individual subsidiaries.
Perform detailed variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
Manage the month-end close process, including accruals, prepayments, and intercompany reconciliations.
Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts and coordinate with external auditors.
Support the budgeting and forecasting cycles.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency.
Provide financial insights and support to various department heads.
Requirements
Part-qualified or newly qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA).
Strong understanding of management accounting principles and group consolidation.
Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment (SaaS or Tech experience is a plus).
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with modern accounting software (e.g., Xero, NetSuite).
Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate financial data for non-finance stakeholders.
High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
