About Knightsbridge
Knightsbridge is one of the UK’s leading business sales brokers, providing a comprehensive nationwide service to business owners looking to sell their companies. As part of the K3 Capital Group — now backed by U.S. private equity firm Sun Capital — we combine scale, reputation, and expertise to deliver market-leading results. With ambitious growth plans, we’re seeking a driven Business Sales Advisor to help bring new clients on board and start their M&A journey with us.
The Role
As a Business Sales Advisor, you’ll be the first point of contact for business owners exploring the sale of their company. Your goal is to build trust, understand their ambitions, and guide them toward becoming a Knightsbridge client. You’ll manage qualified inbound and outbound leads, convert opportunities into signed client agreements, and ensure every prospect feels confident and supported from their very first conversation.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with business owners and senior decision‑makers from inbound and outbound leads.
- Build rapport quickly and position Knightsbridge as the trusted partner of choice.
- Guide prospects from initial contact through to signed engagement agreements.
- Qualify opportunities to ensure alignment and value creation.
- Handle objections with confidence and professionalism.
- Collaborate with internal advisory and sales teams for seamless client handovers.
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
- Consistently achieve and exceed client acquisition targets.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in account management, consultative sales, or business development.
- Strong influencing skills with senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrable track record of converting leads into clients.
- Commercial acumen and understanding of business operations.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Resilient, self‑motivated, and target‑driven.
What We Offer
- £26,500 – £30,000 basic salary (depending on experience) + uncapped commission; opportunity to engage directly with business owners across multiple industries.
- Training, mentorship, and professional development in M&A.
- Genuine career progression — our Managing Director started at entry level in 2007 and rose through the ranks to leadership.
- Progression within a growing, PE‑backed advisory group.
- Social team events and charity initiatives.
Hours: 8:30am–5:30pm (Mon–Thu) with an early 3pm finish on Fridays. No weekends and a Christmas shutdown period.
If you’re a natural relationship‑builder and skilled closer who thrives on helping business owners achieve their goals, we’d love to hear from you. Apply now with your CV to start your M&A career journey with Knightsbridge.
