Quantum Care is a not for profit company providing high quality care services for over 2000 older people in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Essex. We need the right people to join us and provide the best possible care to our residents, offering support, maintaining dignity and assisting them to enjoy every day living in our Homes.

Weekend Receptionist – Part Time

Alternative weekends 3pm to 7pm. An opportunity has arisen in one of our Homes for a Receptionist to join the team.

As a Receptionist you will:

  • Provide a comprehensive reception and telephone support service to staff, visitors and telephone callers.
  • Handle deliveries effectively ensuring goods are taken by addressee and are not left in the reception area.
  • Complete authorisation paperwork for appropriate invoices and pass to manager for authorisation.
  • Ensure that the main foyer and reception areas are clean and tidy.
  • Maintain the post room and stationery cupboard in good order.
  • Process, prepare and bag outgoing mail on a daily basis for collection by the postman.
  • Monitor, maintain and order stationery supplies as needed.
  • Undertake any other duties, depending on skills or competency, as agreed with, or requested by the Home Manager.

Knowledge of computer programs is essential.
