Responsibilities
- Manage daily despatch operations, ensuring the safe, accurate, and timely distribution of aseptically compounded medicines.
- Package and despatch products using the CATO system, ensuring correct labelling, storage, and handling in line with GDP/GMP requirements.
- Book and coordinate courier collections and deliveries using the approved booking system.
- Support stock replenishment and transfers into the Aseptic Facility, following bio-burden reduction processes.
- Assist with stock control activities, including routine stock counts.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the despatch area in line with cleaning schedules.
- Comply with all relevant SOPs, company policies, GMP/GDP standards, and documentation requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date training and actively contribute to continuous improvement and team support.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a regulated environment such as pharmaceutical, healthcare, logistics, or manufacturing (GDP/GMP experience desirable but not essential).
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly when handling, packaging, and despatching medicines.
- Confidence using computer systems for despatch, stock control, and documentation (experience with CATO or similar systems is an advantage).
- A strong understanding of compliance, quality, and the importance of following SOPs and procedures.
- Good organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, reliable team player with a positive 'can-do' attitude.
- Willingness to undertake training and develop skills within a GDP/GMP-controlled environment.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality, professionalism, and high standards at all times.
