The role Our Commercial Insights team is growing! We're looking for a Junior Commercial Insights Analyst to join our team in London. In this role you'll own real analysis from day one, turning data from across the business into reporting and recommendations that commercial, marketing, and product teams rely on.
- Own a set of dashboards and reports that leaders check every week
- Work across BigQuery, SQL, and Tableau on questions that matter commercially
- Partner directly with teams across the business, not behind a request queue
- Grow fast, with a clear path toward a Commercial Insights Analyst role
Key responsibilities
- Own and maintain a set of recurring dashboards and reports in Tableau
- Write and optimise SQL queries against BigQuery to answer commercial questions
- Analyse acquisition, conversion, and retention metrics and surface actionable findings
- Partner with marketing, product, and commercial teams to scope and deliver smaller analytical projects
- Help improve data quality, reporting processes, and dashboard design
About you
- Degree in a maths or science based subject
- Around one to two years of hands-on experience in an analytics or data role, including placements or internships
- Working knowledge of SQL and confidence with a BI tool such as Tableau, plus Excel and GA4
- Commercially curious, keen to understand the why behind the numbers and turn it into recommendations
- Able to manage multiple tasks and deliver to deadlines with growing independence
- You thrive when working as part of a team
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Have excellent written and verbal English skills
- Last but not least, you'll have no ego!
