Quantum Scholars is currently seeking experienced Primary and Secondary SEND Tutors to provide 1:1 tuition in home and off-site settings for pupils accessing alternative provision across Wokingham and the surrounding areas of Berkshire. This role involves supporting pupils who are currently outside of mainstream education. Many of the learners we work with have additional needs, including SEND, Autism, ADHD, SEMH, behavioural challenges, school refusal, or medical conditions.
This is a highly rewarding opportunity to work closely with individual pupils, delivering personalised sessions that build confidence, strengthen core academic skills, and support their re-engagement with education. Tuition sessions typically take place in the pupil's home or within a suitable community setting, with tutors responsible for planning and adapting lessons to meet each learner's individual needs.
Role Overview- Deliver 1:1 tuition to primary and secondary-aged pupils outside of mainstream education
- Flexible, part-time opportunities to suit your availability

- Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive, supportive relationships
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Right to work in the UK
- Experience delivering core subjects such as English and Maths
- Ability to travel across Wokingham and surrounding areas for in-person sessions
