Working arrangement: In-person

Quantum Scholars is working with Hillingdon Council to recruit experienced and compassionate SEND Tutors to provide personalised one-to-one support to children and young people across Ruislip and the surrounding areas. As an approved Alternative Provision provider, we work with young learners who are currently unable to access mainstream education due to a range of additional needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference by delivering tailored, face-to-face tuition that helps learners rebuild confidence, re-engage with education and work towards positive outcomes. Sessions are generally delivered in learners' homes or suitable community settings during school hours.

About the Learners

You will support children and young people with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including:

  • Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
  • ADHD
  • Anxiety and other mental health needs
  • Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA)
  • Medical needs
  • Social, emotional and behavioural challenges
  • Other additional learning needs
