We are looking to engage qualified teachers and experienced tutors to support pupils across Ruislip and the wider Hillingdon area through 1:1 and small group tuition. This work supports young people who are currently outside of mainstream education, including pupils accessing EOTAS provision and learners with SEND and/or SEMH needs. There is immediate demand for tutors, with a growing number of referrals expected throughout the remainder of the academic year and continuing from September onwards. You must have the right to work in the UK. Visa sponsorship is not available.
What the Role Involves
- Deliver tuition across core subjects (English, Maths, Science)
- Support primary and secondary‑aged pupils
- Work with learners with SEND, SEMH, autism, ADHD, and school avoidance
- Tuition may take place in homes, schools, community settings, or online
- Flexible assignments available, with many referrals offering up to 5 days per week (approx. 3 hours per day)
Requirements
- QTS / QTLS or strong tutoring experience
- Experience with SEND, EOTAS, or alternative provision learners desirable
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- Strong safeguarding awareness
- Ability to travel locally within Ruislip / Hillingdon
