Quantum Scholars is seeking compassionate and dedicated Learning Support Tutors to provide personalised 1:1 support for children and young people across Wokingham, Reading, Bracknell, and surrounding areas. You'll work with students who may have SEND, autism, ADHD, SEMH needs, anxiety, school avoidance, or other barriers to learning. Sessions are delivered in the student's home or a suitable community setting during school hours.
The Role
- Deliver engaging 1:1 tuition and learning support
- Adapt lessons to meet individual needs and abilities
- Support confidence, wellbeing, and educational progress
- Build positive, trusting relationships with students
- Provide support in core subjects such as English and Maths
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with children or young people, particularly those with additional needs
- Background in tutoring, teaching, mentoring, youth work, pastoral care, or similar roles
- Patient, adaptable, and confident supporting a range of learning needs
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- Right to work in the UK and ability to travel to sessions
