Quantum Scholars are looking for a committed and experienced Maths Tutor to provide 1:1 tuition to secondary-aged students within an Alternative Provision setting in Norwich. This role will involve supporting students who may need additional help with their Maths learning, confidence, engagement, or preparation for exams. The tuition will take place in a school setting, working with students on an individual basis and tailoring sessions to meet their needs.

We are particularly interested in hearing from tutors who can support students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Maths, including GCSE preparation where required.

The role will involve:

  • Providing 1:1 Maths tuition to secondary-aged students
  • Planning and delivering engaging, personalised sessions
  • Supporting students with gaps in learning, confidence and exam preparation
  • Adapting teaching approaches to suit individual needs and learning styles
  • Helping students re-engage with Maths in a positive and supportive way

  • Is patient, reliable and able to build positive relationships with young people
  • Can adapt lessons for students who may have barriers to learning
  • Has strong communication and behaviour management skills
  • Is passionate about helping students make progress and rebuild confidence

Experience in Alternative Provision, SEND, SEMH support, behaviour support, or working with disengaged learners would be highly desirable.
