Quantum Scholars are excited to work alongside a well-regarded secondary school in Guildford, who are currently seeking a Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher with the ability to teach both French and Spanish to secondary school level. This is a full-time position initially for 1 year with a strong potential to go permanent with the school. The role will commence after Easter and is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or a newly qualified teacher (NQT) looking to further their career in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:- Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in French and Spanish across Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Ensure lessons are tailored to the needs of diverse learners, making language learning exciting and accessible.
- Prepare students for GCSE exams, setting appropriate assessments and ensuring all students reach their potential.
- Plan and deliver a stimulating curriculum that meets the requirements of the National Curriculum.
- Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting clear targets for improvement.
- Use data to track and monitor student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary.
- Establish and maintain clear boundaries for student behavior, creating a positive and respectful learning environment.
- Provide pastoral support for students, helping them to develop their language skills, confidence, and academic abilities.
- Encourage student participation and foster a love of languages through interactive, engaging activities.
- Teaching Qualification: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Degree in Modern Foreign Languages (French and Spanish or a closely related subject).
- Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) are encouraged to apply.
- Experience: Previous experience teaching French and Spanish at Key Stage 3 and 4 is desirable but not essential.
