Quantum Scholars is seeking experienced Secondary Chemistry tutors to provide 1:1 tuition for pupils accessing alternative provision across Wokingham and the surrounding areas of Berkshire. This role focuses on supporting secondary-aged students who are currently outside of mainstream education. Many learners have additional needs, including SEND, Autism, ADHD, SEMH, behavioural challenges, or medical conditions.

This is a highly rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact by working closely with individual students. Tutors will deliver personalised Chemistry sessions designed to build confidence, strengthen subject knowledge, and support each learner's pathway back into education. Tuition typically takes place in the pupil's home or an appropriate community setting, with tutors responsible for planning and adapting lessons to suit individual needs.

Requirements

  • Right to work in the UK
