Quantum Scholars are seeking qualified teachers and experienced SEND tutors to deliver alternative provision tuition across the county of Herefordshire. This work includes a mix of one-to-one and small-group tuition, delivered either on school sites or off-site in non-educational settings. We support pupils who are not currently in mainstream education. Many of the students we work with have additional needs, including SEND, ADHD, autism, SEMH, behavioural challenges, or medical conditions.

We're looking to recruit primary trained and secondary trained teachers and tutors. If from a secondary background, the ability to tutor Maths, Science, English or Humanities would be an advantage. Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Role Overview
  • Alternative provision tutoring in Leominster and across Herefordshire
  • One-to-one and small group work with pupils
  • Delivery may take place on school sites or off-site in community or non-educational settings including working at student's home
  • Part-time, flexible hours depending on pupil and placement needs
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status preferred, or strong tutoring experience
  • Enhanced DBS (Update Service desirable)
  • Ability to travel locally within Leominster. Access to a vehicle would be an advantage
  • Experience working with pupils with SEND/SEMH or alternative provision backgrounds is essential!
  • Strong relationship-building and adaptable teaching approach
