Primary SEND Tutors Required – Immediate Start – Hillingdon

Quantum Scholars is currently recruiting experienced Primary SEND tutors to deliver 1:1, in-person tuition for pupils receiving Education Otherwise Than at School (EOTAS) provision across Hillingdon. We are receiving consistent referrals from the council for tuition running across five days per week, typically around 2–3 hours per day. We are therefore looking for tutors who are available Monday to Friday and able to deliver approximately 2–3 hours of tuition each day.

As a trusted provider within Hillingdon Council's alternative provision network, we support primary-aged pupils who are not currently in mainstream education. Many of the children we work with have additional needs, including SEND, ADHD, autism, SEMH, behavioural challenges, or medical conditions. This is a highly rewarding opportunity to work closely with individual pupils, delivering personalised sessions that build confidence, develop core academic skills, and support their transition back into education.

Tuition sessions typically take place in the pupil's home or in a suitable community setting, with tutors responsible for planning and delivering lessons tailored to each learner's needs.

Role Overview
  • Deliver 1:1 tuition to primary-aged pupils outside of mainstream education
  • Flexible, part-time hours to suit your availability
  • Sessions take place during school hours, so daytime availability is essential
  • Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on pupils' progress and development
Requirements
  • Proven experience supporting primary pupils with SEND, SEMH, autism, ADHD, or behavioural needs
  • Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive, trusting relationships
  • Calm, patient, and resilient approach
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Right to work in the UK (please note, sponsorship is not available)
  • Ability to travel to Hillingdon for in-person sessions

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer Skilled Worker visa sponsorship, and applications requiring sponsorship will not be considered. For those who meet the eligibility criteria, this is a fantastic opportunity for tutors who are passionate about making a difference while benefiting from flexible working and the chance to deliver impactful, one-to-one support. If this role sounds of interest, please apply today and a member of our team will be in touch.
