Quantum Scholars is currently recruiting experienced SEN tutors to provide 1:1, in-person tuition for primary and secondary-aged pupils receiving Education Otherwise Than at School (EOTAS) provision across Uxbridge. We are currently receiving regular referrals from the local authority for tuition taking place throughout the week, typically 2-3 hours per day. We are particularly keen to hear from experienced SEN tutors who are available Monday to Friday and can commit to delivering consistent sessions.
As a trusted provider within the local authority's alternative provision network, we support pupils who are not currently in mainstream education. Many of the students we work with have additional needs, including SEND, ADHD, autism, SEMH, behavioural challenges, or medical conditions. This is a highly rewarding opportunity to work closely with individual pupils, delivering tailored sessions that build confidence, strengthen core academic skills, and support their transition back into education.
Tuition usually takes place in the pupil's home or a suitable community setting, with tutors responsible for planning and delivering sessions based on each learner's needs.
