SEND English Tutor - Somerset Location: Somerset Phase: Secondary / SEND Working arrangement: In-person Quantum Scholars is looking for a supportive, patient and experienced SEND English Tutor to provide one-to-one educational support to a student in Somerset. This is an in-person tutoring role and is not online work. The role will involve providing tailored English tuition to a student who may benefit from a flexible and personalised approach to learning. You will be expected to build a positive and trusting relationship with the student, adapt your teaching to their individual needs and help develop their confidence, engagement and progress in English. The successful tutor will be able to create engaging and accessible lessons while remaining flexible to the student's pace, interests and individual learning needs. Experience working with young people with SEND or those who have found mainstream education challenging would be particularly beneficial.
