Role Overview
Join our Finance team as a Purchase Ledger Clerk, where you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of supplier invoices and payments. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and organised individual who enjoys building positive relationships, solving problems, and supporting the wider business.
Key Responsibilities
- Following, promoting, and enforcing relevant SOPs, Job Aids, and Company policies and procedures
- Assisting, as directed, with maintaining the purchase ledger
- Collating invoices and matching them to purchase orders
- Processing matched invoices onto Business Central
- Investigating and resolving queries where purchase orders and invoices do not match
- Ensuring outstanding purchase orders are monitored and investigated if needed
- Maintaining good housekeeping within the department
- Keeping excel spreadsheets up to date
- Preparing supplier statement reconciliations and agreeing to aged creditors report
- Assisting the wider team in the preparation and review of payment runs
- Proactively supporting the business’ operation by helping in other departments which may be busier than your own at a particular time
Requirements
- An understanding, or awareness, of ERP finance software
- A supportive nature - and good team-playing mentality
- Great attention to detail
- IT literate, particularly with excel
- Excellent communication and mathematical skills
- The ability to work at pace and in a high-pressure environment
- Being capable of working towards KPIs
- Ensuring the work you do is of a high standard and that Target Healthcare Group procedures and policies are followed at all times
- Acting as an ambassador for the business, presenting Target Healthcare Group in a positive way at all times with clients, customers and colleagues
