We’re looking for a proactive and commercially minded professional to join our finance team within the pharmaceutical sector. At Target Healthcare Group, we are pioneers, committed to revolutionising healthcare.
This key position involves managing and controlling balances with community pharmacies, hospitals and wholesalers, ensuring timely payment of invoices, and maintaining strong relationships with our customer base. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in credit control and will be able to manage a diverse portfolio of accounts.
As a Credit Controller your duties will include, although are not limited to:
- Manage credit control processes for community pharmacy, hospital and wholesaler customers, ensuring that payments are received in a timely manner.
- Regularly liaise with clients to resolve any payment issues or queries.
- Process and follow up on outstanding invoices, reconciling accounts and ensuring accurate records are maintained.
- Review credit limits and payment terms for new and existing clients, ensuring financial risk is minimized.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or disputes within accounts, working closely with the finance team and other departments.
- Produce regular reports on aged debt and account status for management review.
- Work proactively to reduce outstanding debt, maintain healthy cash flow and accuracy of records.
To be successful in this role, you should be able to demonstrate:
- Experience of working within a credit control role.
- Good communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues and customers.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft applications particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
