As part of our continued growth and commitment to strengthening our quality culture, we are now seeking to appoint a Head of Training and Compliance to lead the strategic direction of training governance, regulatory alignment, and workforce competency across the organisation. This leadership role will drive training excellence, ensure sustained compliance with global regulatory standards, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
What you’ll be doing:
- Development and Implementation of training strategies across all of our manufacturing sites.
- Developing and monitoring metrics for training compliance and effectiveness.
- Ensuring that all new starters have a great joining experience, being made aware of our core values, business strategy and their place within it and their possible promotion within the Group.
- Supporting the work based apprentice and students placement supervisors to ensure their specific training needs are delivered.
- Participate in promoting training and education both internally and externally.
- Committing to ongoing CPD and attending courses as are deemed necessary for the development of the unit and yourself.
People Management:
- Developing and leading a high functioning site-based training team, working closely with Operations, Quality and Laboratory staff to ensure consistently reliable training outcomes.
- Ensure the appropriate level of resource and expertise is in place and that this is structured in the most effective way to deliver the strategy.
- Ensure the team have clear objectives in place and that they understand how these relate to the KPI’s, divisional and Group level strategy.

- Tech-Savvy: You’re highly proficient with all Microsoft Office software and are comfortable using technology to enhance learning.
Hours of work: The core hours for this position are Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 18:00. As this role supports our manufacturing function, flexibility is essential to work across departmental operating hours (05:00 – 22:00) in line with operational requirements.
