Job Description
We are Hiring for an Immediate position of Health & Safety officer role for an International Bank based in Harrow. This is FTC for 11 Months. Minimum IOSH or NEBOSH certification would be mandatory for this role.
Job Role:-
The main responsibility is to ensure thot the Bank is compliant with UK Occupational Health & Safety standards, and in providing a healthy environment for its staff, customers, contractors and visitors and thot all the statutory requirements are instituted and maintained throughout Bank.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY: Develop effective fire and other emergency plans for the Bank. Carry out accident/incident investigation and reporting under RIDDOR legislation where appropriate. Ensure implementation of corrective preventive action in the event of an accident. Chairing and organizing consultation meetings with employees. Co-ordinate the risk assessment programme. Ensure the management of high-risk activities by use of permit to work system. Introduce and maintain control measures to protect new and expectant mothers from work related hazards. Maintain health & safety records and statutory documents. Coordinate with government agencies. Display health & safety information at all offices. Branch Visits.
