We are Hiring for an Immediate position of Health & Safety officer role for an International Bank based in Harrow. This is FTC for 11 Months. Minimum IOSH or NEBOSH certification would be mandatory for this role. Job Role:- The main responsibility is to ensure thot the Bank is compliant with UK Occupational Health & Safety standards, and in providing a healthy environment for its staff, customers, contractors and visitors and thot all the statutory requirements are instituted and maintained throughout Bank. JOB RESPONSIBILITY: * Develop effective fire and other emergency plans for the Bank. * Carry out accident/incident investigation and reporting under RIDDOR legislation where appropriate. * Ensure implementation of corrective preventive action in the event of an accident. * Chairing and organizing consultation meetings with employees. * Co-ordinate the risk assessment programme. * Ensure the management of high-risk activities by use of permit to work system. * Introduce and maintain control measures to protect new and expectant mothers from work * related hazards. * Maintain health & safety records and statutory documents. * Coordinate with government agencies. * Display health & safety information at all offices. * Branch Visits
