We are hiring for Commercial Real Estate Business Development Manager role an International bank based in Harrow.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITY: Origination of Commercial Retail Credit proposals and ensuring successful execution of the transactions being pursued along with related client & introducer relationship management.
Job Responsibility
To originate Commercial Real Estate credit proposals up to GBP 20 million and Development finance proposals upto GBP 10 million.
Develop and build introducer relationships with brokers, accountants, solicitors, valuers and other players to generate leads.
Proper database of relationships to be maintained.
Undertake initial assessment and processing of lending proposals from the network primarily of CRE or Commercial retail Provide a clear rationale for recommending or rejecting applications, prior to submitting to the CBO.
For shortlisted proposals, submit the same to Credit team for underwriting and support process including presentation of proposals to approving Committee in a timely manner.
Initial review, assessment, investigation to minimise credit risks associated with loan applications in accordance with the Banks operating policies and procedures.
Undertake site visits as required and submit report.
Responsibility for maintaining the pipeline status for proposals at different stages and following up to ensure that disbursement targets are met.
Monitoring of market conditions, identifying potential opportunities or problem sectors and making necessary recommendations.
Ensure the credit decisions are made within regulatory standards and adhere to TCF principles and Customer First standards.
Design and deliver credit training to branches to ensure full understanding of policies and practices
