Senior Buyer — QD Oxford is seeking an experienced Senior Buyer to join our team and contribute to the delivery of truly world-changing products. We offer a diverse portfolio of projects that will challenge, engage, and develop your skills.
Responsibilities
- In conjunction with the Head of Supply Chain and Inventory, coordinate the team in securing material availability in line with business requirements.
- Lead the tactical day-to-day procurement of material requirements in support of business needs and forecast requirements.
- Use the ERP system to action system messages, raise purchase orders, and ensure data accuracy to support effective planning and costing.
- Develop ideas to improve operational efficiency, provide guidance and coaching to other members of the supply chain team, and develop excellent supplier relationships.
About You / Qualifications
- You will have worked as a Senior Buyer, ideally within a manufacturing environment, with exposure to engineering drawings.
- You will be confident in contract management, negotiations, and developing strong supplier relationships that deliver value to QD Oxford.
- You will thrive in a supportive and collaborative team environment and demonstrate a proactive approach, a willingness to learn, and strong attention to detail.
