We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Interim Registered Home Manager with strong local market knowledge to lead Courtland Lodge, our established 60 bed heritage care home in North Watford, for a 12-month fixed‑term period. This role requires a visible, commercially astute and inspirational leader who can provide clear direction, drive performance, and ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality, person-centred care.
As the Registered Home Manager, you will be accountable for the overall leadership of the home, creating a positive culture where residents thrive, colleagues feel valued, and regulatory standards are consistently exceeded.
What You’ll Bring and Key Responsibilities:
- Current or recent experience as a Registered Care Home Manager
- Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care
- Proven success in achieving Good or Outstanding CQC ratings
- Strong knowledge of dementia care and residential care standards
- Inspirational leadership and clear communication skills
- Understanding of compliance, safeguarding and regulatory frameworks
- Commercial awareness with the ability to manage budgets and performance
- Experience with delivery of high end care provision management
