Housekeeping Manager

Full Time – Weekdays and Weekends

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the housekeeping operation in the home including supervising the team of housekeepers to ensure the home provides a warm and inviting atmosphere.
• Work as part of an integrated care team, helping create a caring environment where residents’ dignity is never compromised and their independence is encouraged.
• Ensure compliance with COSHH Regulations and maintain company COSHH manuals.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the home in accordance with guidelines on the use of cleaning materials and equipment.
• Organise and participate in staff meetings, training and development and staff reviews.
• Manage the housekeeping budget and produce bi‑monthly stock takes; agree on action to be taken in the event of an overspend.
• Supervise and/or undertake basic housekeeping tasks throughout the home, including laundry; monitor all areas to ensure they are kept in a hygienic condition.
• Previous relevant experience together with excellent multitasking and communication skills are essential.
