Quantum Care is a not for profit company providing high quality care services for over 2000 older people in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Essex. We need the right people to join us and provide the best possible care to our residents, offering support, maintaining dignity and assisting them to enjoy every day living in our Homes. An opportunity has arisen in one of our Homes for a Receptionist to join the team.

Working Hours and Pay

  • Full Time – 35 hours per week
  • Shift times – 9am to 7.30pm Weekdays and Alternate Weekends required
  • Weekday pay: £12.97 per hour
  • Weekend pay: £13.47 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive reception and telephone support service to staff, visitors and callers.
  • Handle deliveries effectively ensuring goods are taken by the addressee and are not left in the reception area.
  • Complete authorisation paperwork for appropriate invoices and pass to manager for authorisation.
  • Ensure that the main foyer and reception areas are clean and tidy.
  • Maintain the post room and stationery cupboard in good order.
  • Process, prepare and bag outgoing mail on a daily basis for collection by the postman.
  • Monitor, maintain and order stationery supplies as needed.
  • Undertake any other duties, depending on skills or competency, as agreed with, or requested by the Home Manager.
  • Have essential knowledge of computer programs.
