We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team, providing compassionate support that upholds dignity and enriches the daily lives of our residents within our Homes.
Role Overview
As a Maintenance Coordinator, you will be responsible for carrying out routine building repairs to maintain and enhance the Care Home’s fabric, performing day-to-day maintenance tasks, including minor decoration, to ensure a safe, comfortable and homely environment for residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Painting and decorating.
- Conducting minor repairs.
- Replacing light bulbs and other fixtures.
- Hanging pictures and fittings.
- Repairing or replacing door furniture.
- Installing shelves and TV brackets.
- Replacing stained or damaged ceiling tiles.
- Carrying out routine inspections of the Home and reporting maintenance needs to the Housekeeping Manager.
- Cleaning outdoor areas such as footpaths, waste and parking zones, including snow and ice clearance.
- Assisting with moving furniture, including tables and hospital beds.
- Undertaking additional duties, as required, to support the smooth operation of the Home, as directed by the Home Manager or Housekeeping Manager.
