Contract: Part Time - Perm

Hour: 26 hours per week

Pay: £12.71 per hour weekdays & £13.21 per hour weekends

Shift Times: 9am to 5pm - Weekday and alternative Weekends

We are seeking a Catering Assistant to join our 'Outstanding' rated dementia specialist Care Home Belmont View in Hoddesdon. Belmont View is an award-winning 85 bed residential home with beautifully maintained gardens, excellent facilities and exceptional quality care from a dedicated team committed to enriching residents' lives.

As a Catering Assistant you will support the preparation and serving of nutritious meals, and help create a welcoming dining experience that promotes residents' health, wellbeing and dignity.

What You'll Bring

  • A team-focused attitude and good communication skills
  • Experience in food preparation and service preferred, however full training is provided
  • Familiarity with hygiene standards
  • Reliability and good customer service skills

  • Ability to follow Chefs

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Preparation and serving of meals
  • Assisting residents with dining needs where required
  • Follow high standards of food hygiene and health & safety
  • Support the kitchen team with cleaning and washing duties
  • Supporting with stock and storage
  • Follow any other task requirements from the Chefs
