Contract: Full Time/Part Time - Perm
Hour: 20-35 hours per week
Pay: £13.61 per hour weekdays & £14.61 per hour weekends
Shift Times: 7.30am to 2.30pm/2.30pm to 9.30pm - Weekdays and alternative Weekends

We are seeking a Care Assistant to join our welcoming team at Riverside Lodge Care Home in Rickmansworth. This luxury 75-bed care home offers exceptional residential, dementia and respite care in elegant surroundings, featuring stylish lounges and dining areas, a hair and beauty salon, cinema, café, spacious en-suite bedrooms, and beautifully landscaped gardens, all in the heart of Rickmansworth
As a Care Assistant, you will provide compassionate person-cantered care and support residents with respect and dignity to maintain independence.
What You'll Bring
- It is not necessary to have previous experience of working in a similar care environment because, as long as you are an empathetic individual who has a positive attitude and good communication skills, our first-class training will do the rest.
- You will be able to undertake all aspects of caring for older people with compassion and respect in order to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of our residents.
- Our staff have access to first class induction training and ongoing learning and development opportunities including the opportunity to work towards industry recognised qualifications.
- Our Homes operate on a 24/7, 365-day basis therefore you will need to be able to work shifts (including weekends, evenings and Bank Holidays).
- You must be aged 18 years or over to apply for this job.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Providing personal care and support, including assistance with washing, dressing, grooming and toileting, as well as assisting with meals, hydration and nutritional care.
- Assisting residents with daily activities promoting independence
- Building positive and professional relationships with residents, families and colleagues
- Follow individual personalised care plans
- Working as a part of a team to deliver high quality of person- centred care
