We are looking for a Domain Architect to design lab informatics and scientific data-management architectures across multiple systems, and to align them with scientific and business needs.
What we expect:
- Deep experience in life-science, pharmaceutical or biotech laboratory digital transformation.
- Practical experience with ELN, laboratory inventory, scientific registration and sample-management solutions.
- Strong understanding of plate-based assays, imaging, omics and high-throughput laboratory workflows.
- Experience with laboratory automation, robotics, instrument integration and scheduling or orchestration.
- Experience designing lab informatics and scientific data-management architectures across multiple systems.
- Strong knowledge of APIs, event-driven architecture, microservices, cloud-native patterns and domain-driven design.
- Experience designing FAIR-aligned scientific data architectures.
- Practical experience with metadata, data lineage, ownership, data catalogues and reusable research data products.
- Experience leading or supporting technical product evaluations and proofs of concept.
- Experience working within enterprise architecture governance and Technical Design Authority processes.
- Ability to explain complex architecture options to scientific, business and technical stakeholders.
Nice to have:
- Hands-on experience with platforms such as Dotmatics, Revvity Signals, Benchling, Mosaic, LabVantage, TetraScience or comparable solutions.
