As a Senior QA Analyst at Quantios, you play a key role in leading testing efforts, ensuring software quality across our products and platforms. You work across Agile teams to plan and execute complex testing strategies, help drive test automation, and mentor junior QA Analysts. You collaborate closely with developers, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to build quality into the software development lifecycle from the outset.
Job Description
- Own the design and execution of comprehensive test strategies for major features and releases.
- Lead QA planning and estimation activities in Agile ceremonies, supporting delivery predictability.
- Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and automation scripts where applicable.
- Mentor junior QA Analysts and contribute to their development and technical growth.
- Identify and troubleshoot complex software defects, working closely with developers and business analysts.
- Advocate for quality best practices and continuous improvement across Agile teams.
- Contribute to the definition and evolution of QA standards, processes, and metrics.
- Help integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and promote test automation adoption.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- ISTQB-CTAL-TM or similar professional qualification.
- 4+ years of experience in a software QA role, with exposure to Agile methodologies and full software delivery lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing types, and defect lifecycle management.
- Proven ability to write detailed test plans and test cases, and document outcomes clearly and concisely.
- Experience mentoring junior QA professionals or leading small QA initiatives.
- Exposure to test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, REST-assured, Cypress, etc.).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a collaborative approach to quality.
