Quantinuum is seeking a senior customer-facing technical leader to help shape and deliver quantum computing solutions for strategic customers in the pharmaceutical and life sciences sector.
This role may be hired at either the Principal or Director level, depending on organizational needs as well as the candidate’s experience, leadership scope, and demonstrated ability to lead teams and strategic portfolios.
In this role you will leverage your deep experience with computational R&D approaches in pharmaceutical industries such as:
advanced analytics and AI;
computational biology and omics;
computational chemistry;
computer aided drug design; and
model-informed clinical development.
This knowledge will guide you as you help customers identify challenges that are well suited to near‑term quantum approaches and work with them to shape a project scope aligned with our research strengths.
In addition, you will provide valuable market feedback to our research team leaders to help keep our research roadmaps aligned with industry needs. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clear, up‑to‑date catalogue of industry‑appropriate use cases that guides both customer engagement and internal research planning.
Candidates hired at the Director level will additionally be responsible for leading and developing the Solutions Architecture team, overseeing technical quality and prioritization across the broader customer portfolio, and helping define the operating model and best practices for the function while continuing to contribute directly to strategic customer engagements.
