The opportunity We are seeking a strategic, analytical, and results-driven Senior Competitive Intelligence Manager to join our high-performing Strategic Market Insights team at Quantexa. This pivotal role is responsible for shaping and executing our global competitive intelligence strategy, ensuring Quantexa maintains its leadership in Decision Intelligence, data analytics, and AI for highly regulated industries. As the senior leader for competitive intelligence, you will define and scale our intelligence-gathering engine—aligning market, competitor, and customer insights to drive strategic decision-making, product positioning, and go-to-market success. You'll work with the Head of Strategic Market Insights and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver actionable insights that inform product decisions, support sales enablement, and reinforce Quantexa's position as a category leader. This is a unique opportunity to build a world-class competitive intelligence function during a critical scale-up period, collaborating with product, marketing, and executive leaders globally to ensure every insight supports our mission to empower organisations to make trusted, AI-driven decisions with context.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead Competitive Intelligence Strategy: Define and drive a cohesive competitive intelligence strategy that advances Quantexa's market leadership and supports business objectives across regions and industries.
  • Market and Competitor Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, competitor activities, and industry dynamics in Decision Intelligence, data analytics, and AI/ML spaces.
  • Intelligence Frameworks: Create and maintain competitive intelligence frameworks and tools to track competitor movements, product offerings, and market positioning.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Management, Marketing, Sales, and Executive teams to inform product strategy, positioning, and go-to-market plans.
  • Actionable Insights: Deliver regular, actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Sales Enablement: Develop and maintain competitive battlecards, win/loss analysis, and sales enablement materials to support field teams.
  • Emerging Trends: Monitor and analyze emerging technologies, market disruptors, and potential opportunities or threats.
  • M A Support: Provide critical insights and intelligence to support M A initiatives and due diligence.
  • Measurement Optimization: Establish clear KPIs for intelligence effectiveness and continuously refine strategy through analytics and feedback.

Requirements What you'll bring.

  • Progressive experience in competitive intelligence, market research, or strategic analysis within B2B technology companies.
  • Proven ability to craft and scale a global intelligence function that drives business and category leadership.
  • Strong track record in producing executive-level insights, competitive analysis, and actionable recommendations.
  • Deep understanding of data, analytics, and AI markets, with the ability to simplify complex topics into clear, compelling narratives.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with product, marketing, sales, and executive teams to deliver integrated strategies.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills; comfortable leading projects to a consistent global standard.
  • Proficiency with intelligence tools, databases, and modern research methodologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, economics, or related field; advanced degree is a plus.
