As we continue our rapid global expansion, we are looking for an ambitious and detail-oriented Assistant Management Accountant to join our dynamic Group Reporting team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career within a fast-paced, high-growth global technology environment. Sitting in our Group Reporting team, you will play a key role in supporting the month-end close, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance across multiple international entities. This role offers valuable exposure to global operations, complex cost structures, and cutting-edge financial systems. Beyond standard transactional accounting, you will have direct opportunities to lead financial analysis, generate commercial insights, and collaborate cross-functionally with teams across our business.
What you’ll be doing:
- Perform monthly P&L analysis, investigating and documenting key movements, trends, and variances.
- Prepare and present insightful month-end commentary to the Finance Manager and wider team.
- Maintain balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring any differences are fully explained and resolved.
- Support the Finance Manager with ad-hoc analysis, reporting, and strategic project work.
- Prepare expense accrual and prepayment journals at month-end.
- Contribute to the maintenance of the Group’s fixed asset registers.
- Support the Accounts Payable team with timely invoice processing and accurate cost coding.
- Review pending/disputed bills and new purchase requests to determine and post adequate accruals.
- Collaborate on wider month-end close tasks across various Group entities.
- Assist with Group audit information requests and statutory requirements.
- Prepare VAT workings and returns in line with local tax regulations.
- Assist with the preparation of annual corporate tax returns for regulatory filings.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and high-quality documentation standards.
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows and enhance reporting efficiency.
- Support the adoption and integration of new finance tools and ERP systems into daily workflows.
What you’ll bring:
- A solid background in finance, ideally gained in a similar management accounting or assistant accountant role.
- Part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent progress.
- A robust understanding of accruals, prepayments, and the rhythm of a month-end close.
- Prior experience with multi-entity accounting and international operations is highly desirable.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills are a must; familiarity with ERP systems (such as NetSuite) and automation tools is a plus.
- An analytical thinker who is comfortable turning raw data into actionable business insights.
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to partner with global teams.
- A proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.
We are committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse work environment, continuously improving to ensure everyone belongs. Our recruitment process is designed to be inclusive and accessible.
