Quantec, one of the UK's leading electrical compliance and fixed wire testing companies, is looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Remedial Works Engineer to join our growing remedial division covering Kent and the surrounding areas.
We are looking for a reliable and motivated engineer with strong experience in commercial electrical installations and remedial works following EICRs. This role offers flexibility, with opportunities available on either an employed basis with a company vehicle provided, or on a contract/self-employed basis with rates of up to £270 per day depending on experience and qualifications.
The Role
The successful applicant will be carrying out a wide variety of electrical remedial works across commercial and industrial properties including:
- Consumer unit and distribution board replacements
- General electrical compliance works following EICRs
- Occasional small installation works
Works will typically be generated from Quantec's nationwide electrical testing operations, meaning a steady flow of remedial works and ongoing projects.
Requirements
- Be a fully qualified electrician
- Have experience within commercial electrical installations
- Hold a full UK driving license
- 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification
- ECS / JIB Gold Card
Company van provided. Stable long-term position. Overtime opportunities available. Contract option. Rates of up to £270 per day weekdays - more for nights and weekends. Consistent ongoing works. Local Kent-based works where possible. Weekly payments.
