We’re working with a fast-growing SaaS company focused exclusively on the insurance industry. Their AI-powered automation platform helps insurers streamline complex workflows across claims and policy servicing, reducing manual effort while improving speed, accuracy, and customer outcomes.

As the business expands across the UK and Ireland, they’re hiring a Business Development Representative to drive outbound pipeline generation into insurance organisations. This role is suited to someone with prior BDR or SDR experience who understands insurance environments and is comfortable engaging claims and operations stakeholders.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Driving top-of-funnel pipeline through outbound prospecting into insurance organisations
  • Targeting claims, operations, and transformation leaders within insurers and MGAs
  • Qualifying inbound leads and booking high-quality meetings for the sales team
  • Researching target accounts and tailoring outreach to insurance-specific pain points
  • Confidently picking up the phone and engaging in outbound calling
  • Collaborating closely with Sales and Marketing to refine messaging and targeting
  • Maintaining accurate pipeline activity and performance data

What we’re looking for:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a BDR, SDR, or outbound sales role
  • Essential: experience working within the insurance industry or selling insurance-focused software
  • Strong preference for exposure to claims, policy servicing, or insurance operations
  • Confident communicator, comfortable engaging senior stakeholders
  • Resilient, target-driven, and motivated by outbound sales
  • Organised, curious, and commercially aware
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced SaaS or scale-up environment

What’s on offer:

  • Base salary of £35,000–£40,000 with £15,000 OTE
  • Fully remote role within the UK
  • Opportunity to sell into a clearly defined vertical with strong product-market fit
  • Exposure to enterprise-style insurance sales cycles
  • Clear progression into senior BDR or closing roles as the business scales
