Our client (a world leading hedge fund) seeks an Algo Trading Systems Engineer to join their Trading and Research Infrastructure team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the deployment, maintenance, and monitoring of servers, networking devices, data storage systems, and other hardware components.
- Design and implement scheduling mechanisms.
- Design, implement, and manage the ongoing operation of clustered file systems.
- Gather metrics and conduct data mining analysis.
- Maximise system and network performance for latency-critical and high-throughput applications.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related engineering discipline is mandatory.
- Minimum three years of hands-on experience in the development of systematic trading systems, utilising languages such as Python, Golang, Rust, or similar.
- Proficiency in working with Linux-based systems is expected.
