Our client (a world leading hedge fund) seeks an Algo Trading Systems Engineer to join their Trading and Research Infrastructure team.
Responsibilities
- Manage the deployment, maintenance, and monitoring of servers, networking devices, data storage systems, and other hardware components
- Design and implement scheduling mechanisms
- Design, implement, and manage the ongoing operation of clustered file systems
- Gather metrics and conduct data mining analysis
- Maximize system and network performance for latency-critical and high-throughput applications.
Requirements
- A bachelor\’s degree in computer science or a related engineering discipline is mandatory
- Minimum three years of hands-on experience in the development of systematic trading systems, utilizing languages such as Python, Golang, Rust, or similar
- Proficiency in working with Linux-based systems is expected
