Are you looking for your next Project Director contract? Quanta has the position for you! Our client, Ireland’s long-standing number one provider of construction services, are searching for a Project Director to join their team on a contractual basis.

With decades of experience delivering projects internationally, this organisation has played a significant role in the development of modern Ireland. Their growing portfolio includes multiple mission critical infrastructure projects, and they continue to be at the forefront of pharmaceutical construction.

Role:

  • Responsibility for the management and onsite construction of major/complex contracts of values typically in excess of £60m.
  • Ensuring that all aspects of quality, the Environment and progress are in accordance with the contracted, internal and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage employee resources, including cover for site when staff are on annual leave or training.
  • Review constructability and identify methods of execution with commercial or program advantage where possible.
  • Communicate with BU MD/Regional Managers and advise the contract team of any potential legal, IR, safety, environmental, technical or construction items as required.

Requirements:

  • Data centre experience and previous exposure to large scale construction projects.
  • 3rd level construction qualification e.g. construction management, engineering, quantity surveying.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience reporting at a senior management/director level to internal and external stakeholders.
  • IOSH/NEBOSH preferable but not a requirement, CDM/PSCS Awareness, BBS, Root Cause Analysis & S5 & Q10 internal workshops.
