Electrical engineer – Data Centre Project – 12-Month Contract

Our client, an experienced principal contractor who partners with some of the biggest data centre providers in the market, are currently seeking a brand-new electrical engineer. The project at hand is based in the London region, and long-term future work is expected in the area.

Responsibilities:

  • Working as one of 3 electrical engineers reporting into the Electrical Package Manager
  • Primarily responsible for the HV & LV Panel installation and switchgear installation
  • Switching both HV & LV
  • Working with the external commissioning consultants to assist with commissioning, including ensuring all processes are in place ready for witness testing to be undertaken.
  • Write, implement and oversee all RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements)
  • Generally undertake and be responsible for the electrical installation of equipment onsite
  • Requirements:

  • Previous Data centre experience
  • HV Authorised
  • Must have experience installation of HV & LV Panels
  • Electrical qualifications
  • Be prepared to work on site 5 days a week
