Commissioning Manager – Berkshire – 12-Month Contract

Our client, an experienced principal contractor who partners with some of the biggest data centre providers in the market, are currently seeking a brand-new CSA Manager. The project at hand is based in the Slough region, and long-term future work is expected in the area.

Responsibilities:

  • Report to the clientΒ΄s commissioning lead represented by Dome
  • Liaise closely with the GBL mechanical commissioning manager to provide combined M&E programme drop lines and look ahead schedules.
  • Create and/or maintain best company practices to identify and incorporate quality and cost-effective solutions to commissioning
  • Manage the contracted commissioning agent assigned to the Slough data centre construction project – Dome Ltd
  • Comment on our clients commissioning procedures and standards where you believe can be improved.
  • Construction site inspections to review QA/QC and commissioning process
  • Drive the project commissioning process including scope and schedule and attend site SAT tests with Dome and sub-contractors.
  • Travel and lodging away required
  • Attend client and end user meetings as required and directed by the GBL project manager Dean Robson
  • Requirements:

  • Must be able to deliver level 3 -5 through to IST
  • Live site experience and integrating systems
  • Data Centre experience essential
  • Be able to manage commissioning team
  • Organised for all commissioning documentation
  • Experience in principle contracting
  • Client facing experience
  • Experience chairing client meetings and providing progress reports
