Job Description

Programme Director – Data Centres – Middlesbrough – Contract Our client is an independent project management consultancy delivering portfolio, programme and project expertise across property and construction.

Working across sectors including science, technology, education, healthcare and commercial developments, they focus on collaborative, sustainable delivery and high‑quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead programme governance, reporting, controls and decision‑making processes across multiple delivery workstreams.
  • Oversee schedule management, project controls, risk, cost and change management to ensure successful programme delivery.
  • Manage senior stakeholder relationships including clients, contractors, consultants, utilities and supply‑chain partners.
  • Drive programme delivery across design, procurement, construction, commissioning and operational readiness phases.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading hyperscale data centre or other mission‑critical infrastructure programmes.
  • Strong background in programme governance, project controls, planning, risk and commercial management.
  • Experience managing complex programmes involving power, utilities, MEP and construction interfaces.
  • Ability to lead executive‑level stakeholders and multidisciplinary delivery teams in fast‑paced environments.
